I specialize in tube guitar amps so besides general troubleshooting, cleaning and repair a basic tune up would include:


Test Tubes
Check output tube bias
Clean tube sockets, control pots, jacks and switches
Check for drifted plate resistors
Check for leaking coupling caps
Check filter caps for signs of old age
Play test the amp
Consult with you to decide a course of action and pricing

     I also specialize in Mesa Boogie, Fender and Marshall mods and tweaks. I've been playing these amps myself for over 35 years and I've learned a few tricks to make them sound their best.  I've been a huge fan and player of the Boogie Mark series amps since 1985 and can perform all the most popular mods and service to these great amps.  Again I am the  authorized Repair Station and WARRANTY REPAIR Center for all Mesa products.  

     If you are having difficulty with you P.A. or Sound Gear I have experience with most all types reinforcement gear, from the small self contained stuff to the huge discreet systems. I can provide assistance and consultation in setting up and operating your system, and if my schedule allows, I could be available to attend your rehearsal or show.  Ask about an installation for your church or venue. I am also a fully experienced Sound Engineer and can be available for such if my schedule allows.

     Need new pickups or wiring/switching mods for your guitar?  I got ya covered on anything electronic as well as set ups and adjustments for your guitar.  I also install pickup systems on acoustic instruments; ask me about yours!  

     I also service certain types of vintage HiFi Stereo gear.  I am very selective about this as much is truly not worth fixing and I will be honest about it.  

     I also now do simple BAND INSTRUMENT REPAIR, which includes: corks, pads and springs.  I am the only local shop offering this service.  Sorry I am not tooled for major repairs. 

     And last but not least I offer PRIVATE GUITAR LESSONS for the older beginner and intermediate students.  Beginners will learn the rudiments of chords, notes and progressions.  My intermediate course places more emphasis on my personal specialties which include rock, blues, and fusion techniques and can also include traditional music reading and music theory.  
Lessons are $17.00 per 30 minute session.  I currently offer lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.  Call or email for available time slots.

Vintage Restoration, Modifications and special parts requirments will be on an individual basis.

In most instances, when I have parts in stock, I can have your repair out in a week.  (Bring it in on Monday if you need it by Friday)  Otherwise it will depend on parts availability and shipping time.
